1/7/22 – This is a minty example of an early Nambu Type 14 issued to the Japanese military in May of 1937. The gun is all matching and has early features such as a small trigger guard and straw small parts. It also comes with an early nickel-tube magazine that is not matching to the gun. The gun has retained about 98% of its original finish. There is just very minor wear on the underside of the trigger and a couple of small spots of finish loss on the back strap. While there is next-to-no actual finish loss, there is spotty oxidation on the barrel and some pin-pricking on the slide and on the front strap. Areas with tiny pits on the barrel and the back strap. Comes with nice un-numbered period-correct grips – some scuffs here and there. The bore is mint.
