11/4/21 – This is a minty example of an Arisaka Type 38 rifle issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The original mum stamp on the receiver has been ground off. The gun is all matching except for the firing pin and trigger group. The gun is in minty condition, retaining nearly all of its bluing – most of the original fire-blue is still intact on the follower, and the straw coloring is intact on the rear sight and on the ejector box. The stock is in minty condition with just a few minor dings and dents here and there. The gun comes with an original cleaning rod. The bore is shiny, but the rifling is just a bit worn.
