4/28/17 – This is an all-original and correct 1911 manufactured by Ithaca Gun Co. in 1944, for use by the American army during WW2. The finish rates at about 98-99%, with only slight high-edge wear on a few of the edges. It is properly marked with a P proof on the slide and frame, as well as FJA inspector’s stamp on the frame. Crossed cannons cartouche can be found on the right side of frame. Correct ‘HS’ marked barrel, Risdon magazine, and flawless grips. Bore is excellent, I’d rate it a 9/10.
