6/26/23 – This is a near-mint Colt Government Model 1911A1 from 1946. Gorgeous profile view with just a hint of edge wear near the muzzle. Proper matte finish along the top of the slide with polished blue elsewhere. Nearly all of the finish loss is on the grip safety, and a few minuscule surface scratches on the left side of the frame. Also a minor ding on front strap. Mint bore and excellent grips. Barrel is Colt marked with a small ‘F’ under the lug. Unmarked commercial mag.
