7/21/21 – This is a near-mint Colt 1911A1 that was made in 1943. It has about 98% of the original, parkerized finish remaining. Minor wear on the front edge of frame and a line of finish loss on left side of slide where it rubs against the inside of the frame. Proper G.H.D. inspector mark on frame, with P proofs on slide and frame. Correct Colt barrel with ‘F’ under lug and a minty bore. Minty grips, too, with hardly any handling wear. ‘R’ marked magazine.
