5/20/22 – This is a minty Smith & Wesson Pre-Model 29 in the black/blue factory S&W case with scarce 4in barrel. It is chambered for .44 magnum and has a minty bore. It’s accompanied by a S&W factory letter, though whether the mistake of the S&W archives or the buyer who ordered the letter, the serial number is incorrect (off by 60). So it’s likely this also shipped in January of 1958, but potentially not to where this letter states. The gun has 98% of the blue remaining with a minor turn line on the cylinder and a small area of wear on the left side of the frame. Minty bore and grips. Grips are not numbered. The case is in excellent condition and comes with the brush set.
