7/26/24 – This is a beautiful example of a BYF 43 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. All matching with the proper “Waffen 135” military acceptance proofs throughout. It comes as a rig with a “Waffen 135” Mauser magazine and a 1944-dated soft shell holster (there is a hole on the back). The rig also comes with the original copy of the WW2 capture document. The document lists this exact gun by serial number, along with a Walther PP and a pair of binoculars. The gun itself shows has very little bluing loss but there is rough/odd machining on the front strap. Fitted with period-correct reddish bakelite grips. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
