4/3/23 – This is a minty example of a Walther P5 manufactured in 1983. All matching with the proper proofs, but there is an import mark on the underside of the frame. This one is also marked “BMI” on the slide, indicating it was issued to the “Bundesministerium des Innern” or the Federal Ministry of the Interior. The “BMI” marking has a light hash mark through it. The gun comes in a period-correct box (re-numbered to match), two P5 magazines, a cleaning rod, a printed copy of an owners manual, and a nice black leather holster. The gun itself has retained most of its original finish with very minor wear on some of the high edges. Excellent black plastic grips. Minty bore.
