9/21/22 – This is a near-mint example of a Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman revolver, manufactured in about 1974 and chambered in .357. 6″ barrel. It is matching and comes with its original matching-numbered box, owners manual, and cleaning rod. Small hole in the box lid. The gun itself has retained nearly all of its original high polish bluing. There is just very minor wear around the muzzle, hints of wear on the high edges of the cylinder, and a very light roll mark on the cylinder. Beautiful case-hardening on the trigger and hammer. Comes with excellent hand-checkered wood grips. The bore is like-new. The cylinder is tight, and the action is very smooth.
