4/24/23 – This is a near-mint example of a Colt Official Police revolver, manufactured in 1935 and chambered in .38 Caliber. 5″ barrel. Comes with a period-correct box that does not match the gun – the lid is fairly tattered. The gun itself has retained nearly all of its original high polish bluing. There is just very minor muzzle wear and a couple of small spots of light oxidation on the cylinder. A few tiny handling marks on the trigger guard. Fitted with excellent wood grips. Mint bore. The cylinder is tight, and the action is smooth.
