4/28/20 – This is a superb example of a 1965 Walther P.38 pistol. It is Eagle/n marked and has the West German antler proof. The “E” suffix is relatively uncommon. The original high-polish finish is near mint at 99+% – very small spot of minor wear around the muzzle on the right side of the barrel. The frame is aluminum alloy, making a light-weight 9mm collectors piece. Beautiful grips and proper high-polish commercial magazine. The front sight is not original and a set screw has been added to the frame, behind the trigger. No marks, so most likely entered the US before 1968. The bore is minty.
