11/23/22 – This is a near-mint example of a Springfield M1 Garand issued to the US military in 1955. The barrel is Springfield marked and dated April of 1955. The stock is “P” proofed and has a US DOD approval stamp on the left side. Overall, the gun is in minty condition with almost no actual finish loss. There are just a very light scratches and scuffs here and there. The wood stock is virtually mint with just a few tiny handling marks. Throat reading: 0. Muzzle reading: 0.
