8/29/23 – This is a near-mint example of an AC 45 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1945. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs throughout. There is an “asterisk” marking on the barrel, indicating it failed initial inspection and was repaired at the factory – a desirable characteristic for collectors . It comes as a rig with a nice waffen-proofed 1944-dated soft shell holster and a post-war P1 magazine. The gun itself has retained nearly all of its finish with just hints of wear on some of the high edges. Fitted with period-correct reddish bakelite grips – some really neat coloring swirling on the left side. Factory-new bore. De-cocker is functional.
