12/19/22 – This is a minty example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is “United States Property” marked, has the proper “FJA” inspection stamp, and has a faint cross-canon military cartouche on the right side of the frame. Parkerized Springfield barrel. The gun has retained about 97% of its original parkerized finish. There is just very minor wear around the muzzle and high edges of the slide. A couple of small dots of discoloration on the right side of the slide. Fitted with a set of very nice period-correct reddish plastic grips. Comes with one period-correct “R” marked magazine. Minty bore.
