1/30/23 – This is a minty example of a BYF 43 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 98% of its original “dusty blue” finish, characteristic of these BYF 43s. There is just very minor wear around the muzzle and very front edges of the slide. A few tiny handling marks and scratches along the barrel. Fitted with an excellent set of period-correct blackish-brown bakelite grips and comes with a “Waffen 135” proofed Mauser magazine. Very nice bore with strong rifling and some light freckling here and there. De-cocker is functional.
