1/13/22 – This is a near-mint example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is “United States Property” marked, has the proper cross-canon military cartouche on the right side of the tang, and has the correct “G.H.D.” military inspection stamp on the left side of the frame. Springfield barrel. The gun has retained about 98% of its original parkerized finish. There is just a hint of wear around the muzzle and a few very light handling marks here and there. Comes with the proper grips and a correct WW2-era magazine marked “L”. The bore is excellent with strong rifling.
