5/5/21 – This is a minty example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1940. This gun is being sold on consignment. The consignor put together a very cool assembly to go along with the gun that includes a labeled hard case, with a Nazi armband (repro), a 1939 Iron Cross, a Silver Wound Badge, and several Third Reich coins. The gun is all matching and and has the proper “Eagle 655” military proofs. The gun has retained about 97-98% of its original finish. There are areas of minor wear on the side plate, around the muzzle, on the barrel, underside of the trigger guard, and on the front edges of the frame. Minor spotty freckling on the straps. The grips are excellent and waffen-proofed. Comes with a period-correct magazine that is not matching but close. The bore is very shiny with strong rifling and minor freckling throughout.
