3/20/23 – This is a minty example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1939. It is all matching and has the proper military proofs. There is a plate on the left grip panel that reads “Capt. A. H. Ackerman 17 Cdn. Field Regt. RCA” (both grip panels are numbered and match the gun). This particular gun is attributed to Captain AH Ackerman of the Royal Canadian Airforce. Included with the pistol are copies of War Diaries that mention Cpt. Ackerman by name, dated 1944-45. The gun has retained about 98% of its original finish with very minor muzzle and side plate wear. Some very minor freckling on both grip straps and a hint of thinning on the back strap. Mint bore. Comes with a mismatched “Eagle 63” marked magazine.
