9/18/24 – This is an original Smith and Wesson Victory revolver, issued to the US Naval Aviation during WW2. The left side of the frame says “Property of US Navy”. It comes as a rig with a scarce US Navy marked, 1944-dated leather shoulder holster. The gun itself is in mint condition with almost no sign of wear or use – barely even a hint of a roll mark on the cylinder. Excellent case-hardening on the hammer and trigger. Fitted with period-correct wood grips, but the right grip is numbered and mismatched to the gun. Like-new bore.
