5/20/22 – This is a mint example of an Austrian Steyr Model GB manufactured in January of 1984. It is all matching and has the proper Austrian proofs. The Steyr GB is a double-action 9×19mm Parabellum caliber, large-framed semi-automatic pistol employing a gas-delayed blowback action. As such the GB abbreviation stand for Gasbremse (gas brake). It was designed in 1968, intended as a replacement for older handguns in Austrian military service. The weapon went into general civilian production in 1982, and in 1988 production ceased. This particular gun has retained virtually all of its original finish. The only sign of use is the faintest hint of wear around the muzzle. Comes with mint black plastic grips and two proper magazines. Mint bore.
