3/12/18 – This is an incredible example of an Italian Army Glisenti pistol, that is in 99% plus original condition with beautiful bore and original grips without defects. These were very complex pistols with all machined parts and beautiful early 1900s rust blue, that proved to be very expensive to produce. These were used by all branches of the Italian army before, during and after WWI, eventually being replaced by the more durable and cheaper to make Beretta 1934-1935 pistols. Glisenti was chambered in 9mm Glisenti caliber which was an underpowered version of the German 9mm Para cartridge. One should take care not to use 9mm Para in this gun as it can result in irreparable damage and can be dangerous to the shooter. The gun is the best one we have seen in twenty years and came from a very advanced collection. The holster is even rarer than the gun and is in excellent shape with an extra magazine. A small disassembly tool is present under the left grip.
