9/17/20 – This is an original Walther PP rig assembled by a GI in the Walther factory at the end of WW2, 1945. This is a known variation, characterized by no slide legend, “AC” code on the right side of the slide, a mismatched frame and slide in the correct serial range, and no proof marks. It comes with a pair of mint, late war, wooden Walther grips. It also comes with a brown leather shoulder holster and a period-correct magazine. The gun is in mint condition – there is just a couple of areas of extremely minor high edge wear, a few very small dings on the slide, and one small area of minor pitting on the left side of the slide. The bore is mint.
