11/30/22 – This is a mint example of an Enfield No 4 Mk 1/3 Rifle that underwent a “Factory Thorough Repair” in 1954. It is marked “FTR 1954” on the left side of the receiver. The entire gun is matching (including the stock), but some of the parts look like they were re-numbered at the arsenal to match. There appears to be a tiny import mark on the left side, just above the trigger guard. It comes with a bayonet, scabbard, canvas frog, and a canvas sling. The gun has retained nearly all of its black enamel finish with just very minor wear around the front barrel band and a couple of tiny chips in the finish around the magazine. Mint stock. Minty bore.
