12/10/20 – This is a mint army Colt 1911A1 with holster from late 1943. The pistol is all original with 99% of the parkerized finish remaining. There’s tiny hints of edge wear but the gun hardly looks used, down to the mint bore. Barrel is Colt marked with ‘F’ under the lug. Proper inspectors marks on frame and slide. Magazine appears to be WW2 original but with a replaced and unmarked baseplate. Minty grips, too. Comes with an original Boyt shoulder holster that’s also dated to 1943.
