9/23/20 – This is a fairly scarce original WW2 production miniature Luftwaffe Type 1 dagger. The dagger has a rare damascus pattern blade. Maker stamped on one side what appears to be “fMD” where the lower portion of the “f” is missing, perhaps it wore off. The blade has some dark spots of patina and surface wear, but is overall excellent. There is one very small chip in the handle near the pommel, but no other cracks or issues. Excellent scabbard and hanger. 9.5 inches long (dagger in scabbard). Blade length is 6.25 inches.
