2/11/22 – This is an original High Standard Model H-D pistol that was issued to the U.S. Military in 1943. A total of ~32,000 Model H-D pistols were procured by the military from 1943-45. This one is marked PROPERTY OF U.S. on the right side of the frame, and has ordnance cannons marking as well, though not the cleanest stamping. The original, high-polish blue rates at about 90% with some minor finish loss on the left side of the barrel, right side slide and trigger guard. Excellent bore. Nice grips with a few minor dings.
