11/7/22 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1943-44. It is all matching and has the proper “Waffen 135” Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. This particular gun has a rare “ac 43” FN-made slide. There is also what appears to be a peened post-war police marking on the left side of the frame. The entire gun has been arsenal-refinished and blued. It has retained most of its new finish with very minor thinning on the front strap and minor wear around the muzzle and on the front edges of the slide. Comes with nice reddish bakelite grips and an “Eagle 359” marked Walther magazine. The bore has good rifling with obvious pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
