7/23/24 – This is a WW2 Mauser production P.38 magazine. The magazine is in great overall condition with excellent blued finish throughout the tube. Minimal finish loss and some mild speckling. The left side of the tube base is stamped “P.38” (note there’s no ‘v’), and the spine is eagle/135 military proof stamped. The base plate shows small spots of browning patina and a few very minor dings but these aren’t very deep into the metal. Strong, fully functional spring.
