8/29/23 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser Model 1914. It is Imperial marked on the top of the slide, indicating it was issued to the Imperial German military during WW1. It is all matching and comes as a rig with one period-correct magazine and a reproduction holster. The gun itself has retained about 96% of its finish. The most obvious sign of wear is an area of minor pitting on the left side of the muzzle. It looks like the finish was removed on the extractor. Fitted with a fairly worn wood grip. The bore has decent rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout.
