7/13/22 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser Model 1914 sold in the commercial market in the 1920’s. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown U” commercial proofs. It has retained about 98% of its original bluing. While there is next-to-no actual finish loss, there is spotty oxidation throughout, most noticeable on the top of the slide and on the front grip strap. Heavy brown patina on the front grip strap as well. Comes with a nice period-correct wood grip and one proper magazine. Excellent bore.
