10/20/22 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser HSC issued to the Nazi police force in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper police “Eagle L” proof on the left side of the trigger guard. It comes as a rig with one period-correct magazine and a generic unmarked tan leather holster. The name “Dr. H. Klaes” is written on the inside. The gun itself has retained about 96% of its original finish. There is just very minor wear around the muzzle. There is also very minor thinning on the front strap and brown patina on both grip straps. Comes with slightly worn wood grips – there is a small repaired chip in the upper corner of the left panel. Mint bore.
