9/28/20 – This is a cool and interesting Mauser C96 with cutaway frame and slide. Most notably, these were produced at the factory as instructional tools, but this one is a little bit of a mystery. The front of the magazine well has several Chinese characters but unsure the significance. The finish also appears as if it could be an arsenal restoration, and the bore is not rifled. So if any of our customers have any more insight on this particular example, it would be welcome. Serial dates this one to 1910. Grips could be replaced as they are unmarked.
