9/26/18 – This is a WWI era Mauser C96 Broomhandle rig, with original matching stock and grips. The pistol retains ~80% blue with notable browning the finish on both sides, as well as thinning of the grip frame and barrel. Serial number dates this pistol to the 1911-1915 range. Trigger and safety still show some original fire blue, more on the safety. The stock is numbered to the pistol, both on the wooden lid and the stock attachment. The stock is otherwise unmarked, but shows no cracks or chips. The pistol bore has excellent rifling.
