10/5/22 – This is a nice example of a Mauser C96 that was originally manufactured during WW1 but was professionally restored by Fed Ord Inc. It is chambered in 9mm Parabellum and comes with a set of nice reproduction “Red 9” Grips. The underside of the barrel reads “Refurbished by Fed Ord Inc – SEM CA USA”. The slide and frame are matching, but some of the small parts are mismatched. We believe at least some of the markings have been reapplied. Overall, the gun is in nice condition. Most of the finish loss is at the front of the magazine and on the grip straps. Light scratchy wear along the top and right side of the barrel and on the high edges of the frame. Some tiny pits here and there. There is noticeable pitting and deterioration in the metal under the grips. Minty bore.
