12/7/22 – This is an excellent example of a late WW2 production K98 bayonet with the original matching numbered scabbard. The bayonet also comes with a leather frog which has a RBN designation number. The bayonet and scabbard are void of maker stamps or waffen proofs – characteristics of late WW2 production. The blade is excellent with strong bluing throughout and no signs of sharpening. There’s mild patina on the cross guard and pommel. The scabbard has no dents with some mild surface patina throughout. The frog is in great condition as well.
