12/3/20 – This is an original early WW2 production K98 bayonet. The bayonet is matching numbered “5219” on both the scabbard and blade. The blade is excellent, in near mint condition. The wood handle is also excellent but the metal pommel has patina throughout. Further, the scabbard is missing most of the finish and has patina / minor rust near the toe. No dents. The leather frog has light wear throughout and a faint maker stamp on the back.
