8/27/21 – This is an original 1939 dated K98 bayonet with an original matching serial numbered scabbard. The bayonet also comes with a leather frog that’s maker stamped and 1939 dated on the back leather. The blade is excellent and very clean with no signs of sharpening. Serial numbered, maker stamped, and dated on the spine. The scabbard is also serial numbered 1985c and is matching. There’s no major dents or issues on the scabbard, but there is some surface wear on the metal as shown. Properly proof stamped on the scabbard and handle.
