7/2/21 – This is an original, matching K98 bayonet and scabbard. The blade is 1939 dated, maker stamped and serial numbered. there is some light finish loss and a few spots of discoloration but no signs of sharpening. The handle has some rust and patina throughout the metal areas. The scabbard has no dents but is missing all of the original finish and is covered in patina and areas of surface rust. The leather frog is 1939 dated and in good condition.
