2/29/24 – This is a nice example of a matching and original “ce 44” code JP Sauer K98 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is completely matching and has the proper military acceptance proofs throughout, including the wood parts. The finish on the metal parts rates roughly 70% with noticeable thinning and light brown patina on most of the parts. There is no major damage to the wood, but it does show obvious signs of wear and use. The rifling in the bore is pretty worn with minor pitting throughout.
