4/12/24 – This is a very nice example of an Arisaka Type 99 issued to the Japanese military during WW2. All matching with a completely intact Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. It comes with an original bayonet and scabbard. It also comes with an original capture document signed by a William Martin. Included with the document is some information about William’s life and service. There is very little actual finish loss on the gun, but there is spotty oxidation throughout. Some light surface rust here and there, most noticeable around the muzzle. Excellent wood – may have been lightly sanded. Mint bore.
