5/6/20 – This is an original WW2 M40 nazi Kriegsmarine helmet from WW2. The helmet has a single eagle decal on one side, and no other exterior markings. The decal has most of the paint in tact, overall about 80% of the paint remains. The decal is yellow, which is for Kriegsmarine designation. There are no dents on this helmet and no major rust spots or wear issues. The interior of the helmet shell is marked “E.F.” and size stamped “64”. Also serial numbered 211. The leather liner has some cracking and aging around the brim / folded edge. The liner is completely in tact though. Chin strap is only partially attached. See photos.
