2/6/19 – This is a WW2 production German Kriegsmarine issued helmet (navy). The helmet is a model 40 and size 66. The interior is maker code stamped ET as well and serial numbered “1182”. The helmet has a single decal German eagle that’s gold colored which indicates Kriegsmarine. The exterior shell has no dents, but there is some rust color and missing paint. The interior has more normal wear and the liner has light scuffing and cracking throughout. Some of the leather is missing, but a majority is in tact. See photos!
