7/23/24 – This is an original, early WW2 production M35 Luftwaffe Helmet. The helmet shell has natural surface patina and shows signs of having a wartime re-paint, as M35’s were often reissued during the war and saw heavy use. The right-ear side of the shell exterior shows just a trace of the German Shield logo, and the left-ear side shows evidence of 2 different Luftwaffe Eagle decals, again this is evidence of having been reissued during the war. The helmet has original rivets and metal liner band intact. The felt liner headband is still attached as well, as shown. No liner or chinstrap included, and priced accordingly. We cannot find any visible maker or size markings, but the interior liner diameter is about 8 inches or 20cm from front to back, and about 6.5 inches or 16cm across.
