5/10/24 – This is an original, early variation Luftwaffe M35 Double Decal helmet. The helmet comes with a reproduced leather liner and chin strap. The exterior helmet shell still has the original dark blue / grey colored paint with spotty discoloration, surface scratches, and surface patina throughout. No dents or major issues. The Luftwaffe decal and German shield decal are in great+ condition and about 85+% intact. The interior shell is maker stamped and dated “1935”. The back-brim interior of the shell is lot numbered 2625. The metal liner band has a few bends and mild surface patina but is still tight and completely intact with two square-edged bails, correct for an early M35 helmet.
