5/9/22 – This is a M1954 Double Decal German Stahlhelm. The helmet is excellent throughout with clean paint throughout the shell, the original leather liner, and original leather chin strap. The exterior shell has a few mild surface scratches and typical blemishes and small spots of paint loss, but no major flaws. The left-ear decal depicts the Berlin distract decal and the right-ear has a German crest, as shown. Both decals are excellent. This helmet would have been issued to West-German border patrols. The liner indicates size 57-61.
