10/23/23 – This is an original leather M1907 sling for a US Rifle, like the M1903 or M1 Garand. The leather sling is in great overall condition with some light surface wrinkling, and a few scuffs / imperfections that are typical for something of this age. No major issues however, and completely intact with strong leather throughout. The leather is maker stamped by Chicago Belting Co. in two different places. There’s also a “H.E.” inspector initial stamp, which likely means this was military issued.
