3/27/23 – This is an original WW2 production M1 Garand bayonet. The bayonet has a great condition blade that shows some mild finish loss mostly near the tip. There’s also a few light dings along the edge from previous use. No signs of sharpening and UFH maker stamped with a US flaming bomb on one side of the ricasso. The handle has no cracks or chips, and the metal portions of the hilt show typical surface patina and mild aging wear but no excessive damage. The scabbard is in good condition with an old repaint that’s slightly worn.
