4/30/24 – This is an original and excellent example of an M1 Garand Bayonet from WW2. The bayonet is early WW2 production, dated 1942 and maker stamped by PAL. The blade is uncut, and 16 inches long. The blade still shows its’ original parkerized finish with no evidence of sharpening. The ribbed grips are deep red and black mottled color sometimes referred to as brown. Very minor surface crack on the spine of the left grip, but no looseness. This includes a rare scabbard as manufactured by “Detroit Gasket”. Some minor use wear on the scabbard, but still very nice.
