8/23/24 – This is an original M1 carbine recoil check. This device mounts to the end of any m1 carbine without a bayonet attached and when fired directs the gases upward which assists in keeping the muzzle down. This item is parkerized and appears to be all original with the F in oval marking indicating it may have been made towards the end of the war or closer to the Korean war era. Excellent condition overall.
