4/17/23 – This is an original Luftwaffe Fallschirmjaeger (Paratrooper) Officer Tunic from WW2. The tunic also features an Afrika Korps. campaign cuff title on the left lower cuff. This four pocket, dark blue wool tunic is a smaller size and is in excellent overall condition despite some small surface abrasions on the left front shoulder. The front 4-button closure panel is missing one button as shown, but all other buttons are intact and original. The top left breast has three cloth loops for a ribbon bar, and the breast pocket has two award loops. There’s an added Fallschirmjaeger patch on the bottom corner of the left breast pocket as shown. This has some mild aging and surface wear but is in great condition overall. The right break has a silver bullion Luftwaffe eagle, which is excellent condition. The collar tabs are silver bullion and excellent as well, with rank indicating First Lieutenant. The collar has silver twist edge piping as well. The interior is lined with a blue-grey rayon and is in great condition with some very mild staining and aging.
